Established in 1978, the Belgian brand continues to captivate Parisians. This year, the spotlight is on vibrant colours from the seventies and must-have outdoor furniture.

“Shopping here is like navigating through a home,” jokes Arnaud Garel, the spirited director of the Flamant boutique in Paris. Since its opening in 2001, the store, located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, has quickly become a neighbourhood icon. With its various spaces spread over 800 sqm, the store appeals to enthusiasts of natural linen, raw wood, and furniture with a beautiful patina. “The pieces are both aesthetic and natural. More than anything ostentatious, customers seek simplicity in their everyday lives,” highlights Arnaud Garel. And simplicity remains a highly popular value! This season, the new collections embrace colour. From typical seventies vibes (geometric patterns, brown and orange tones, rounded shapes) to the tangy freshness reminiscent of the Italian island of Burano and its colourful houses, positive energies are guaranteed!

But that’s not all! With summer comes outdoor furniture, and Flamant launches the Hills collection. A range that emphasizes an aged effect and timeless lines. Its particularity? “We have worked with a resin that allows you to leave your garden furniture outside, even in bad weather. Polyrattan and teak provide true impermeability,” says Flamant’s director. In addition to this new collection, the brand also offers its famous Marian garden chairs and their matching round table. Made of aluminium, these enduring, lightweight, and stackable seats are available in four colours (terracotta, khaki, ochre, and black), both in-store and online. For 45 years, the Belgian brand has never stopped reinventing itself. “If I had to describe it in three words, I would say conviviality, warmth, and space,” summarizes Arnaud Garel. This holy trinity perfectly captures the spirit of Flamant!
