With the summer season comes a strong desire for greenery and for those lucky enough to have a balcony or a terrace, now is the time for gardening. Wax Flower, founded 11 years ago by Grégory and Thierry, assisted by Pauline, is the preferred address of the Germanopratins in search of flowers, cacti, green, succulent or rare plants.

Narjiss and François Cluzet often explore the lovely shop on rue Bernard Palissy, as does Camille Cottin, (from “The Parisian Bitch”) a girl who knows the good addresses, the actor Charles Berling, newly settled in to Saint-Germain, or even one of the best American architects, Edward Tuttle. Famous or not, each customer is advised and guided by the shop staff in order to meet his or her taste in plants but also in aesthetics, with a variety of vases, pots and planters. However, everyone is not lucky enough to have green fingers and for them, Wax Flower has invented a home-based flowering service. It’s an expert approach, rare among Parisian florists: a gardener makes a home visit, determines the exposure of the balconies or terraces you want to bloom, comes up with a solution for an automatic watering system and establishes a quote based on your desires. It’s a complete service that includes a real follow-up with monthly maintenance of these small “hanging gardens”. Everything is possible and customisable, from a small urban jungle to a mini French garden. And the most extraordinary, this service is available in winter as well. A chance to see life in green!
