Anyone who has ever touched the steel knob or glimpsed through the wide glass window revealing the heavy green curtain remembers the “TaoKan experience.”

After a decade of successful existence, Christophe Daine’s restaurant has established itself as THE reference for “re-imagined” Asian cuisine. The entire Parisian scene indulges in its famous Dim Sum and its oh-so-chic foie gras and cocoa. The culinary trilogy of Loc Lac Beef, with its marinated beef, tangy onions, paired with its mysterious sauce, genuinely tantalizes the taste buds. As a final touch of gustatory magic, do not miss their spinach, elevated by an enticing touch of peanuts. For a sweet note, let yourself be seduced by the divine delicacy of crispy spring rolls with melting chocolate: it’s irresistible. The freshly updated tableware, directly from Japan, also reflects the chef Au Tien Dat’s excellence.
As for the months ahead, brace yourself for delightful surprises as the legendary spicy Dim Sum wonton–aficionados will understand, for the uninitiated you’ll have to come and find out!–will now be an integral part of the menu. Renovation work is also planned, and rumour has it that a magnificent mural will proudly adorn the back of the establishment. The kitchen will be expanded, but rest assured: it will still be open, allowing us to enjoy the behind-the-scenes action and contemplate the choreography of the chefs. A delight indeed.
