It is at the former printers of the revolutionary Marat – see no conspiracy plot! – where this beautiful and welcoming delicatessen set up shop 6 years ago. And well, if there is a plot, it is to find the purest olive oil, the flagship product of the House! Because the House would like to invite you on a delicious and authentic gourmet journey: “all products are exclusively from Provence”, says Sandrine, the Manager. In tapenades, soaps and an impressive range of, mostly, organic oils – true Provence lovers have finally found their exceptional address. As well as the many savvy tourists who are making their Provencal stopover in Paris here. They all come to enjoy the essences of the 3 stars of the Brémond oils: green fruit, ripe fruit and fruity black, not to forget their vinegars in the subtle tastes of saffron and blueberry… And for the biggest gourmets, it is Pierre Hermé himself who restyles the recipe for the biscuits with orange flowers or anise. We savour nougats, jams and calissons surrounded by utensils in olive wood, recipe books and wine that make the taste buds sing.
It would only take a ray of sunshine and the song of cicadas to believe you were on the banks of The Durance river…
