When entering the Flamant store, we all have this same first impression: “Wow, what a place!” The 750 m2 of the Belgian brand that crosses rue de l’Abbaye to curl up into the place de Furstemberg, we all dream of making this our “little sweet home”! A dream that becomes reality, not for life of course, but at least for all those moments—because at Flamant, the moment always conjugates in plural—that we spend in this haven of wonders. Among living rooms, bed rooms, table settings, bathrooms or office spaces, one marvels like children before Christmas baubles, lit trees, sumptuous light fixtures or scented candles. The welcome and the setting is warm and natural, and the desire to sit down, right here, in the stylish leather armchair with velvet cushions—new star material for the winter—or take the measurements of these new chests or cabinets, which are semi bespoke, is just… irresistible. When walking around the set tables, it is easy to understand why it is called “the art of the table”: collections of plates—lingering at the hand-painted collection—glasses, placemats, accessories, votive candle holders, floral decorations, the multitude of ideas for Christmas decorations … this art of mixing styles, sublimating interiors, if we don’t take everything, we may as well stay here! And when Arnaud Garel, the dashing Director of the store invites us… “Flamant, it is furniture to live and use, and we can already imagine them at home: in the kitchen, preparing dinner, the table is set, the doorbell rings, family and friends arrive”, we won’t refuse. This winter at Flamant, some springlike pink and green colours join the warm hues of the season, as if winter invited spring already… As if we needed one more reason!
