Maybe we’ll never know if Éric Pfalzgraf, the founder of Coiffirst*, was inspired by the Chinese philosopher, but what we know is that stones he moves and mountains… he climbs! The fabulous refurbishment of his salon at rue du Four is proof of this – in the former Saint-Germain bathhouses – where he preserves the spirit of the place by putting up delicate handmade tiles and ceramics from Italy. Work of a goldsmith. At the ground floor there is a fashion atmosphere, and at first floor a lounge and VIP service with manicure and pedicure as well as a special zone for “newlyweds” he tells us. The salon stays open during the refurbishment of course – to be completed at the beginning of 2017 – and the staff is training on the artistic specialties that are the hallmarks of the salon: the soft “varnished” highlights for blondes as well as for the brunettes, and the famous feathered haircut, only with scissors. So many techniques perfectly mastered that are the signature of the brand. And as the founder never stops, he has created a specific line of care products for “highlighted” blondes with an “anti-yellowing” effect. To be honest, at this point, we do understand that the gentlemen who read this article will switch off. But don’t worry, everything you need to know is that you are also welcome and the policy is to offer “traditional” rates. You will not be disappointed, Coiffirst really is “the place to be”. Though, the privacy of our celebrity friends is very protected, Eric wouldn’t reveal that you’ll meet French and American film stars here. Welcome to the top!
